Summary
You Can't Take It With You is the Pulitzer Prize-winning classic comedy about the delightfully unconventional Sycamore family. This madcap household of lovable eccentrics, led by the charming Grandpa Vanderhof, lives life on their own terms, pursuing hobbies from making fireworks to writing plays—all while dodging the tax man. Chaos ensues when their seemingly "normal" daughter, Alice, brings her straitlaced, high-society fiancé, Tony Kirby, and his conservative parents to dinner on the wrong night. The resulting clash of lifestyles is a hilarious and heartfelt reminder that happiness is found by doing what you love.
